How to successfully verify your business on Flutterwave
Updated 23 hours ago
To complete your account verification on Flutterwave for Business, here are some specific details to guide you through the process:
For Nigerians, your first and last name on your Bank Verification Number (BVN) must match the name on your valid ID.
Ensure your business details such as business address, directors information, and shareholders information are accurate and up to date with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) or the relevant regulatory body in your country.
Ensure that when searching for your business or organization name, you’re able to validate it's the correct business using the CAC registration number and address to validate.
Use the correct identity number during verification, and ensure your ID is valid (not expired)
Submit only original documents. Do not use photocopies, scanned copies, or printed images.
Ensure your ID and business registration documents are clear and legible, not laminated, peeled or broken.
If you are registering on behalf of your organization, kindly ensure that the director(s) information from CAC is accurate, and prompt them to complete their registration within 24 hours.
Don’t use saved pictures of your ID and business registration documents; use your device’s camera to capture a new picture of the original ID or document.
Nigerian business representatives, directors and shareholders ensure that your name on your BVN and NIN matches.
For registered businesses, ensure business directors complete their separate verification process. Each director will receive an email to complete their verification.
Ensure to provide your residential address's electricity meter number (prepaid/postpaid) to confirm your residential address. This also applies to business representatives and directors of registered businesses and Other entities.
Ensure that your live verification is done in a clear and well-lit environment.
Ensure at least (1) Director completes their ID verification to prevent payout restrictions on your account.
