At Flutterwave, we are constantly seeking ways to add value to our users. As you and your customers use our products, we want to ensure you have a great experience. We want to stay true to our mission, which is to simplify payments for endless possibilities for every business and individual.

We’re thrilled to announce some of our exciting changes to the Flutterwave Dashboard to further improve your experience. In this blog post, we’ll delve into the changes made, highlighting the key enhancements that will make managing your financial transactions and business operations more efficient than ever before.

1. Merchant Hub Relocation

The first noticeable change is the relocation of the merchant hub housing your businesses, logo, merchant ID, referrals and more, for better visibility and faster access. We moved it from the bottom left to the top left corner. The relocation of the merchant hub is a small change with a big impact, it streamlines navigation, making it easier for customers to access essential business information.

2. Interactive Cards

We’ve also added interactive cards to the home page of the dashboard. These cards provide instant access to the most frequently used payment features, allowing users to efficiently manage their payment links, store, invoices, and point-of-sale (POS) operations.

Imagine having all these crucial functionalities just a click away. With these interactive cards, you can effortlessly create payment links, manage your online store, generate invoices, and oversee your POS transactions and terminals. Not only do these cards save time, but they also ensure you have the tools you need right at your fingertips.

You can also remove them if you don’t want to see them.

3. Search Bar

One of the most exciting additions to the Flutterwave Dashboard is the introduction of the search bar. Finding specific features and sub-features on the dashboard can be a time-consuming task. With the search bar, users can quickly locate the features they need with the click of a button. You can search for any feature and it will show everything related to the keyword on your dashboard in real time.

The search bar isn’t just a generic tool; it’s context-aware. On certain pages, such as Transactions, Store, and Customers, the search bar becomes contextualized. This means that as you navigate through different sections of the dashboard, the search feature adapts to display results relevant to the page you’re on. For example, in the image below, we searched for all transactions made by a specific customer on the Transactions page using the customer’s name (Hassan Test). We could have used the customer’s email address as well.

With this search feature, we’re making it easier and faster for you to manage your businesses, customers and more. The search bar will only improve as we keep iterating to ensure you can search for anything you need on your dashboard, from any page. You can learn more about how the search bar works here
